Michelangelo Console 2

Lightweight, easy-to-read console with the Michelangelo computer and glowing pressure gauge.

$499.95 USD
Style

The Michelangelo Console 2 has been designed to fit the Michelangelo scuba dive Computer in a modern console, which differs in form, size and weight of similar products on the market. The different sizes of the two instruments, the computer Michelangelo and the Pressure Gauge, have led to a console designed truly innovative and original. The instruments are arranged on slightly tilted, which further improves the design and allows for greater readability of the same. The use of advanced materials such as polycarbonate and desmopan, have reduced to a minimum thickness and weight and the console reveals a surprising lightness, which obviously translates into ease of use and minimum strain on the hose connection to the first HP the stadium. The hose connection has a lower section of the standard (11 mm – 0.43 in), to the advantage of its flexibility and lower weight. The Michelangelo is designed, developed and produced in Italy by Cressi Elettronica. It is a completely modular, rugged computer with a wide UFDS display, which provides the proverbial ease of navigation and Cressi computer menus. It has complete Nitrox management, depth gauge mode, and a reset option. The Michelangelo allows up to 2 mixed gasses configurations. The algorithm incorporates RGBM and Deep Stop. Menus and navigation system identical to the rest of the Cressi diving computers, with ease of reading, access to information and model parameter modification. Easy configuration, navigation through the various menus and access to a large amount of information displayed intuitively. "User-Friendly Display System". The information display, screen contrast, proportions and digit size have been carefully chosen for ease of use. All of the information presented is separated by light lines to facilitate reading even in stressful or emergency situations. Back-lit display activated by button or when alarm sounds. Extended battery life through a combination of systems: battery saver mode when the computer is not used with automatic power-on. The Submersible Pressure Gauge (in global fluo version only) features a fluorescent dial, which glows in low light conditions. It reads from 0 to 350 BAR | 5000 PSI. For at-a-glance monitoring of air pressure the instrument's face is divided into three different colored zones: the area from 50 BAR | 600 PSI and below is highlighted in red with solid and red stripes. If the gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 60 BAR | 1000 PSI, this provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 50 BAR | 600 PSI to approximately 200 BAR | 3000 PSI the scale is green and from 200 BAR | 3000 PSI to the end of the scale is colored in blue. The dive computer can be linked to a smartphone using the BT Interface (sold separately). It communicates with the dive computer via an IR connection. Use the Cressi app (available for Android and iOS) to download diving sessions and monitor training. The device is powered by a long-lasting CR2430 button battery which can be replaced by an authorized Cressi center by verifying perfect watertightness.
