Rafaello

Raffaello is a diving computer with a durable, scratch-resistant body and a large, easy-to-read display. It offers essential dive data, including surface time and desaturation time, with a longlasting battery and user-replaceable feature.

Description

The new Thor fin has a peculiar and unprecedented structure that combines the two central ribs in high modulus polypropylene, very reactive and a central area of the thermoplastic rubber with a convex section, assembled in a polypropylene blade. Two lateral nozzles, located in the area where the flexion starts, release the associated negative forces and allow the use of two high-response ribs. This combination causes a channeling and acceleration of water flow, which stabilizes and increases propulsion at equal effort. The inclination of the blade with respect to the foot pocket has increased by 5% compared to traditional diving models. This angulation provides greater efficiency and a more natural foot position during fluttering. Thor enjoys the exclusive 3-material injection system patented by Cressi, which provides an excellent combination of strength, power, comfort and aesthetics and the optimization of the requirements of each area of the fin:
  • Main body of polypropylene: This material, inherited from apnea fins, has as its main characteristic the very fast transmission of the applied energy and its great structural rigidity. It is applied to the shovel and inner area of the sole sandwich. He is very nervous and reactive and facilitates a very agile and effective flutter. It has a stress-performance ratio clearly superior to traditional materials (natural rubber or thermoplastic, polyurethane, EVA). It also has a great resistance to breakage to the point that Cressi guarantees it for life for sports use.
  • Flexible elastomer: It is applied to the foot pocket and the areas that require flexibility and elasticity, since they influence the comfort of the diver: Footrest toe, interior of the sole and area of the instep in contact with the ankle. It is also assigned to the areas that require non-slip capacity: Inserts in the sole (area in contact with the ground) and anti-shock, such as the lateral nerves of the blade. The fusion of both materials is performed at the molecular level and its strength is guaranteed for life for sports use.
  • Polypropylene of the high module: Especially reactive, it is applied to the veinings of the blade and is responsible for providing rigidity and return to the blade. This material connects the critical point of transmission of energy (the instep) with the nerves in one piece, avoiding the usual loss of energy through excessively flexible components of the foot pocket that produce a heavy, slow and fatigue fluttering the instep.
It also uses several technologies common to the rest of the Cressi models:
  • "Shoe design under the blade": Now increasing its angle by 5%, the blade comes directly from the top of the foot pocket, solidly joining the fin to the foot and transmitting all the effort generated by flapping without loss of energy through soft areas. This format allows the water to be channeled from the same ankle to the final edge of the blade, unlike traditional models, in which the foot pocket has no contribution to the advance. Apart from improving the directionality of the flutter, this design provides a performance between 10% and 15% higher than what would correspond to the fin for its blade surface.
  • Thickness of the blade of decreasing profile "spina di pesce" to improve the directionality of the flutter and achieve a greater inertia of the final part of the fin.
  • Foot pocket reinforced in the upper area by a supplementary thickness and laterally by two prolongations of polypropylene from the upper to avoid the dispersion of energy in the process of transmission from the foot to the upper.
Foot pocket with three differentiated volumes, with the central area narrowed so that the foot remains firmly fixed inside and the transmission of the foot-foot-paddle effort is direct and precise.

Description

An elegant expression of simple, functional design, the Leonardo is a must-have for divers entering the sport and for those who "just want to dive".

Leonardo is the first computer designed, developed, and produced 100% in Italy by our owned subsidiary, Cressi Elettronica.

It is a completely modular, rugged computer with a wide UFDS display, which provides the proverbial ease of navigation and Cressi computer menus. It has complete Nitrox management, depth gauge mode, and a reset option. The algorithm incorporates RGBM and Deep Stop.

Menus and navigation system identical to the rest of the Cressi diving computers, with ease of reading, access to information, and model parameter modification. A single-button interface makes it effortless to program Air, Nitrox, and Gauge modes the first time a diver picks the computer up, and an edge-to-edge, high-definition screen gives large numerical displays in a computer that is still compact and travel-friendly.

Easy configuration, navigation through the various menus, and access to a large amount of information displayed intuitively.

Features a "User-Friendly Display System": the information display, screen contrast, proportions, and digit size have been carefully chosen for ease of use. All of the information presented is separated by light lines to facilitate reading even in stressful or emergency situations.

The back-lit display can be activated by the button or when the alarm sounds. Extended battery life through a combination of systems: battery saver mode when the computer is not used with automatic power-on. Power-saving processor and CR2430 battery is replaceable by the user without tools. The clearly visible battery life indicator and distinct audible alarms deliver critical information and peace of mind during the dive.

Gauge calibrated in salt water for maximum precision during typical use. The Leonardo can also be fully reset after each use, making it an excellent choice for rental departments.

After the successful Leonardo, Giotto, Newton, Drake, Goa, and Cartesio, the Neon is the seventh project designed, developed, and produced in Italy by its subsidiary Cressi Elettronica. The Neon has a diameter of only 48 mm and a high contrast display of 37 mm. It is an elegant and polyvalent proposal, under its sporty aspect and attractive watch hides a complete dive computer and apnea that stands out for its versatility. Suitable for the advanced diver or for technical diving and for apnea or snorkeling, but surprisingly simple for the average diver by providing information clearly and simply with just two buttons. CONSTRUCTION
  • Anti-impact technopolymer case. This composition allows a great lightness, resistance to the blows, and to the aesthetic aging. The computer case is extremely flat, with a very hydrodynamic cornerless section and its dimensions are relatively contained, with a vision of the model digits.
  • Extra-flat profile (maximum height 14 mm) with a completely rounded design, very hydrodynamic and avoids possible snagging. Even the anchorage of the strap follows the profile of the box.

Cressi Elettronica has developed our newest computer, the Goa, from scratch. It features a new CPU that is faster with greater functionality. Our latest motherboard is completely redesigned, allowing for a larger battery for long-lasting life. The case has a diameter of only 48 mm | 1 7/8 in and a high contrast display of 35 mm | 1 3/8 in. The computer monitor is made of mineral glass and the case is heavy duty with steel buttons that have an underwater resistance up to 120 m | 393 ft. Plastic/Steel bezel and stainless steel back cover. It has only 2 buttons making the menu easy to navigate. It not only features programs for scuba diving, but also has a program for free diving, in which it is possible to customize different alarms. It is also an ideal watch for other underwater activities due to the deactivation option of the dive functions that avoid unnecessary alarms while snorkeling or swimming. Data is acquired 4 times faster: every 5 seconds while scuba diving and every 2 seconds while free diving. Additionally, the computer acquires temperature data. The result is a more complete and precise chart that is viewable in the interface software. Through the Cressi Interface application (sold apart), a user can download and analyze the diving data recorded on the Goa. The connection between the Goa and PC (or MAC) is done using the Docking Station connected via USB cable. The Interface software allows the user to view charts and data of scuba diving and freediving sessions. It is possible to save a logbook with a memory of 50 dives per category. The records are completed with two graphs, showing the water pressure data (taken every 5 seconds) and water temperature data (taken every 5 seconds). All the information can be uploaded to the DAN (Divers Alert Network).
